The longer this goes on, the less seriously I...Wow. The longer this goes on, the less seriously I can take this. It is true that things must grow and evolve or face stagnation, but what DC has been up to over the past decade is really overdoing it. Do you suppose it is possible. Ray, that you can use buzz-lines like "Everything you thought you knew is wrong" or "Nothing will ever be the same again" so often that the constant re-shifting can itself become stagnant?<br /><br />As for Joe Chill, I've read both the 40's and 80's stories where Bruce confronted his parent's killer. Both were entertaining tales, well told and dramatically presented. Whether or not they "actually happened" is inconsequential to me. Of course they happened; I read them. Of course they didn't happen; Batman doesn't exist. <br /><br />Did Spider-Man never confront the mugger who shot Uncle Ben? Was Spider-Man really an orphan? Was Ben Parker really Spider-Man's uncle? Was the spider bite that gave Peter Parker his spider-powers magical or radioactive? Does Spider-Man exist?<br /><br />Do you beleive a man can fly?Jonathon Riddlenoreply@blogger.com
